Squarespace redesign for a Family, Newborn and Maternity Photographer
Jennifer’s photography website was on the older version of Squarespace (7.0) on a very old template. She was looking for a whole website refresh and a more professional looking site. As her services had changed, we also used this opportunity to restructure the website and change her service pages to reflect the changed offerings.
Jennifer desired a soft, muted, casual website that also looked professional. We were able to come up with a new color palette and fonts that matched the look she was going for on our Design Day together.
On the Design Day I designed a brand new Home page, About page, Services page (x3), Investment page, Printed Products page and Contact page.
Essentially a whole new website in just one day! Whatever I could not 100% complete, Jennifer was easily able to update following my detailed tutorial videos.
What we did on the Design Day:

What was your favorite part about the Day?
My favourite part of my Design Day was watching as the site started to take shape! Every time there was an update, she messaged me & I could check it out right away!! Jodi was also super responsive to messages, made the appropriate changes quickly, gave guidance where needed & had helpful tips to keep the site engaging!
How do you feel about your website after the Design Day?
I just LOVE my new site design!! It was just as I imagined it & even more!! My goal was to have a professional, sleek looking site that I am excited to share with my new & current clients…mission accomplished!! Almost all of my goals were finished during the Design Day & anything that needs to be tweaked I can do myself, thanks to Jodi’s videos!!
