The most worthwhile online Squarespace website course ever for learning how to be a Squarespace web designer
For someone who has been a Squarespace website designer for many years, I was looking for a Squarespace course that could take my coding and designs to the next level and what I found in this course surpassed even my wildest expectations!
I had been eyeing Standout Squarespace as soon as Rache of Squarestylist launched it as I have many of her courses and use them regular in custom Squarespace website design. I knew the course would be so good as everything she puts out is amazing, but I was unsure whether I should join for the following reasons:
the price of the course is more than any other course by far that I had previously invested in
I wasn’t sure that I would get enough value from the course. I have been designing sites in Squarespace since 2016 so I wondered if I would learn enough new things.
If you are like me, you have probably invested in lots of different courses and at the end you may have wondered if it was a worthwhile purchase. Are you able to benefit from what you learned or able to charge more? Or, worse yet, did you lose momentum and not even finish (or start!) the course?
I wanted to make sure that any course I invested in would be helpful as a Squarepace Designer in running a business, saving me frustration and expanding my knowledge of how to stretch Squarespace to create custom designs. This course delivered 1000% on all fronts!
Well, in Spring of 2021 I decided to take the plunge and I just can’t say enough good things about this course. It blew my mind! This is one of those courses where I could not wait to watch all the videos and as soon as I finished, I started over again. There was just that much good content!
There are many places to find Squarespace training or Squarespace design courses online, but it would be hard to beat this very comprehensive, fantastic program!

What makes a Standout Squarespace website
The whole premise for a Standout designer on Squarespace is to create sites that stand out but that are not bogged down with codes that slow down the site and most importantly these sites are easy for clients to update. THIS IS GOLD.
Using a base design for most sites with “template sections” we are able to maximize designs on Squarespace that we can use over and over and that clients can update without having to change any coding.
Standout Squarespace 2.0
With the release of the brand new content as of August 2023, there is a new structure to the course. There are 2 different levels available for purchase now: (1) Foundations and (2) Advanced
The Foundations Tier includes access to the Foundations Modules of Standout Squarespace only. This tier doesn't include coding lessons, workshops, and support.
The Advanced tier includes all tutorial videos, new workshops regularly and an online community with support.
Judging the value of Standout Squarespace
Is the cost of the course justified? YES! Although the price caused me to pause and think, when I finished the course I had a feeling of what amazing value for the price! There is seriously so much good content in here. Think of it like being in a Mastermind group but at a very reduced cost.
Also, having all of these tools and knowledge will mean that you will be to charge so much more as a designer and recoup your course investment very quickly!
This course would appeal to web designers at very different stages of their business as well. Even seasoned Squarespace web designers will learn so much and wish they had taken the plunge earlier!

Here is what is included in the Foundations Level
The Foundations level includes so many great basics for building great Squarespace websites and amazing checklists, documentation and contracts for your client projects.
Rache uses an example project from start to finish to show you how to design efficiently, to maximize your time, carefully addressing issues like accessibility and site speed. It is an all around approach to designing great sites in Squarespace that also look great but without using much custom coding.
